Whatever you expect from a garden centre you will find more, at St Peter's Garden Centre at Norton. It is probably the best in the County. With its large car park, easy access, and warm welcome, it’s worthy of a day out.
Greeted by arrays of seasonal plants, themed areas, and garden accessories, the centre is a haven for gardening enthusiasts. Prices are very attractive throughout the store, and frequently a “special offers” stand welcomes the bargain hunters.
In abundance are a variety of pots, containers, gazebo’s, conservatories, sheds and more. However, one is usually spoilt for choice. Garden essentials such as compost, tools, and accessories, are all on display. If you can’t find what you are looking for, or need horticultural advice, the experienced staff is always willing to help.
Whether a plant, a greetings card, or that special gift, the choice at St Peter's is vast. A pet’s corner is available, along with Anstey’s who offer a fine range of Delicatessen.
"The Potting Shed Restaurant" can seat approximately 80 people, and offers a great variety of sumptuous home cooked food.
Daily lunch menu’s vary from soup to a fully cooked meal, and for that special treat, a Sunday Carvery is to be recommended. Mouth-watering cakes, filled baguettes and sandwiches are all available, and what better way to enjoy your visit, than tea and a cake for £2.99. A delightful patio area can be enjoyed during fine weather.
The outstanding feature of St Peter's is undoubtedly its colourful floral and accessories displays, whatever the time of year. Come rain or shine, the abundance of flowers potted plants, and themed displays are a welcome sight. And when you do visit, make sure you allow plenty of time, as there’s so much to see and enjoy.
